RAC’s initial challenge was for Fiora to develop a solution that allowed RAC to protect their brand as they enrolled new garages and dealers in to their network. As the proposition developed and the network grew, so did the service requirements of what the RAC needed to offer. Our challenge was to identify the best solutions to engage with the networks in a way that added value and benefited each RAC Dealer & Garage.
Over the last 5 years, Fiora has developed a number of platforms and digital solutions that met the RAC’s challenge and have transformed the way it engages with their dealer & garage networks. Each solution has enabled the networks to maximise their business offering and improve sales & performance through leveraging the RAC brand. Working together on a strategic level, our on-going objective is to ensure continued growth of both networks whilst supporting their marketing and business needs.
Our very first project saw us develop the RAC Dealer Portal to help manage and govern the RAC brand across the Dealer Network through one central hub.
By creating a portal that offers a library of marketing assets, brand guidelines, personal website referrals and a direct link to dealer reviews, the RAC was able to control how the brand was used and perceived as the network grew. The portal’s simple, convenient interface allowed dealers to easily manage their dealership and keep up to date with network changes and news. Owing to the portal’s success, we were then asked to create a similar hub for the Approved Garage Network.
To drive footfall, we created new RAC consumer landing pages to help educate customers on the benefits of using an RAC Dealer or Approved RAC Garage and ran above the line and digital media campaigns to promote the key selling points.
Most recently we completed a full Dealer Portal overhaul, turning the old brand portal into an insight led, results driven, industry leading platform. Known as the RAC Engine, this new system enables dealers to report on key business data and sales information from numerous areas of the business. It also provides dealers with updated industry insight, marketing hints & tips, plus direct access to key dealer tools and systems.
