Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer

Could this be the perfect opportunity for you? We are looking for an ambitious, highly skilled, Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer to join our fast-paced, creative team.

We are an integrated marketing agency with lots of exciting things on the horizon. Fiora is an independent business with locations in Bristol and London. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and take ownership of your role, supported fully by us, to help you realise your ambition.

Your role will focus on developing concepts and execute motion graphics for a variety of digital channels. From short social media clips through to short form video work. You will be a core part of the creative output within the creative team, you will ensure that you consistently push the boundaries of motion design and innovation for the business. You will report directly into the Creative Director and a dotted line to Group Strategic Director.

You should have a strong portfolio, demonstrating good creative ability and solid agency experience.

1. You will be responsible for managing and delivering video/motion projects that come into the Design Studio. Working closely with the Creative Director and the wider creative team. You will have a clear understanding of the requirements of the business in order to balance the creative vision and objectives with helping to deliver best in class motion graphics and post-production projects.
2. Work with the various teams at Fiora to ensure that high quality, motion content is produced/published on brief, to budget, to deadline, and in line with the client’s strategy. Client facing, articulate, able to reference service level agreements and business requirements.
3. Bring original and cutting-edge ideas to all aspects of your work, based on meaningful insight. Help to introduce better working practices within your area of design.
4. Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on the most effective use of motion graphics, share learnings and insights with the wider team. Help the creative team to balance creative goals and navigate the commercial realities.
5. Calm under pressure, positive and energetic. As part of the creative team you will often be called upon to engage in brain storming and sharing ideas and thoughts.
6. Confidently interact with the wider team and understand the key objectives to each project – to help deliver on the client mission. Help the team to understand and identify the root cause and key need states to help solve our customers business issues.
7. You will be able to execute/edit both animation and live action projects.
8. You will have knowledge of creative capabilities and specialisms. In particular a strong working knowledge of After Effects, Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.
9. You will actively monitor new creative technologies and share them with the wider creative team and Creative Director.
10. To confidently present / discuss Fiora with your peers externally and understand our product and services, to do so in an articulate manner.
11. To encourage the adoption of the Fiora creative processes and to help educate the wider team in that process and it’s value
12. To act internally and externally as an ambassador of the business in the capacity of your role creating a positive and friendly environment encouraging the desire of others to work at the business
