Account Executive


About the Role

Fiora’s Account Manager is expected to assist and be responsible for the management and performance of client projects. To help seek out business development opportunities, and to be a positive member of the Client Services team, effectively contributing to the financial success and sustainability of Fiora and its reputation.

The role is of central importance to Fiora, as it is imperative to the successful relationship between our internal technical, creative and marketing resources and our clients. This role combines the project management and client service responsibilities.


Although this is a junior role, it is an exciting opportunity to help deliver at ground level Fiora’s core values. Exceptional client service and developing new ideas and strategies are central to how we retain our reputation and grow the business our business.


Accounts & projects:

  •  Day to day support for Account Managers and Account Directors, working on individual accounts and projects with responsibility for various aspects of successful project management.
  • To ensure that work is carried out effectively so that client expectations are fully understood, and are met at all times.
  • To proactively look for ways of adding value to Fiora’s customer experience.
  • To be able to take a brief, to interrogate the requirements of that brief and to articulate those requirements via the creative brief template, in a manner that guarantees best and appropriate creative solutions from the studio. To defer to line manager/Account Director for support where necessary.
  • To quote for projects, learning effective negotiation skills where applicable.
  • To assist in forecasting and billing on projects in consultation with the Account Manager/Account Director.
  • To understand the commercial success of your projects through project efficiency and your clients business and our agency role to support them.
  •  To be aware of workload and to inform the Group Account Director of any anomalies as and when they arise.
  • To look at ways of learning more about brand, digital marketing and communications and how to deliver solutions within these disciplines.
  • To be able to think creatively and to effectively help deliver creative presentations.
  • To work with an attentive eye for detail, and with responsibility for checking quality of all work.

Client relationships:

  • To build an excellent working relationship with clients.
  • To deliver outstanding client service by maintaining continuous and proactive lines of communication with clients, including meetings, contact reports, cost updates etc. in line with Fiora’s standard procedures.
  • To proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with current clients.
  • To understand the wider business objectives and priorities of clients, to include internal structures and any decision-making authorities.

Wider team:

  • To be a valuable member of the account management team and to positively and proactively contribute to the day-to-day operations of Fiora.
  •  To attend regular account management meetings – To proactively identify areas for improvement and to contribute to developing internal systems and processes within the Client Services team.
  •  To work with the Account Director and Group Account Director to identify needs for training and personal development through one-to-ones and other ad-hoc meetings.
  • To be a positive, proactive, member of the wider team offering support to other Account Managers and the design team where required.
  • To attend networking events in consultation with the Account Director and Group Account Director.
  •  To contribute to the wider business and marketing strategy from producing case-studies, and blog entries.

  • 1-2 years Experience within a marketing and/or communications environment.
  • Account executive and project management with a wide range of clients.
  • Demonstrable understanding of design process and effective design management
  • Team working.
  • Strong negotiation skills
